Qualification Criteria for the
Quebec Chess Challenge Online 2021
- All players who finish with 3 points and more qualify in their section.
- Orphan section: If there are not enough players in a section and two or more sections must be paired
- All players who finish with 3 points and more qualify
- The players from each section with the best score qualify
- If she has not already qualified in her section, the girl with the best score is qualified.
- As well, any student who is on the Quebec Top Ten list as of December 1st, 2019 or March 1st, 2021 will automatically qualify to play in the Provincial Finals.
- As well, all kindergarten students automatically qualify to play in the Provincial Finals.
- All players who have qualified at a qualification tournament in the 2019-2020 season can qualify by participating in any Chess’n Math rate tournament between March 1st, 2021 and May 15th, 2021. Participation in one of those tournaments, regardless of score, will qualify those players for the Provincial finals.
